The government of Uganda has been accused of using the black market for an illicit drug called Viagra to purchase medicines and other drugs. According to Uganda’s Health Ministry, the pills were being sold on the internet and were purchased from foreign sellers. Uganda’s Health Minister, Dr. Jomo Dzunga, has issued a letter to the Uganda Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regarding the sale of Viagra and other drugs.
The medicine used for treating erectile dysfunction is called Viagra. The FDA has approved it under the brand name Levitra for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men, and Viagra for the treatment of impotence in men. The FDA will then issue a notice to the consumer informing them that this medicine has been approved for sale without a prescription.
